Beatrice has 163 acres in City parks. Many of the parks are linked by a network of walking and biking trails. People of all ages enjoy the Beatrice Water Park, the Skate Park, numerous soccer and baseball fields, basketball courts, and even horseshoe pits. Beatrice challenges golfers with two 18-hole courses. The YMCA a state-of-the-art facility offers a wellness center, Olympic size pool, new gym and track. Nearby Rockford Lake offers camping, fishing, boating, and water skiing. Beatrice also boasts a wonderful public library that includes computers, galleries, and meeting rooms.
