Beatrice Community Hospital and Health Care Center offers nationally accredited healthcare. This is a critical access hospital with 25 acute beds, 71 long-term care beds (located at Parkview Center), ambulatory care services in surgery, diagnostic, and rehabilitation areas, an occupation health program, and many home health services. The hospital has 14 local physicians on the active medical staff and 74 consulting physicians. In addition to these, there are 4 full-time emergency department physicians available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
BHC has a long menu of services that includes wellness programs, chemotherapy, medical nutrition therapy consultation, a healthy kids program, lab work, x-ray services, respiratory care, mammography services, CT scanning, Doppler studies, echocardiograms, MRI, EEG's, nuclear medicine, occupational therapy, speech therapy, pulmonary rehabilitation, kidney dialysis, physical therapy, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and osteoporosis screenings.
